On Wednesday 22nd November, Central Coast Industry Connect in conjunction with of the Office of Regional Development, Department of Premier and Cabinet and Engineers Australia Central Coast Group, held their final event for 2017 at the Gosford Classic Car Museum.
Over 80 people were in attendance. Guests were invited to enjoy the wonderful food from H&H Catering, while pursuing the largest privately owned classic car collection in the Southern Hemisphere. The museum offers a stunning display of over 450 cars and motorcycles and regardless of whether or not you’re a car enthusiast, it was hard not to be impressed!
Official proceedings followed with a welcome from Frank Sammut. Kim Bradley, the Museum’s Marketing, PR & Events Manager gave an overview of the museum offering some interesting insights into the running of the Museum. Next, Richard Ellis, CEO of Central Real discussed the process of transforming the old Bunnings Building into the Car Museum. Richard discussed the developments that he and Tony Denny (owner of the car museum) have in progress and the number of jobs that have and will come from these developments. Frank bought the speeches to a close by reiterating the potential of businesses on the Central Coast highlighting CCBEA winners Bioaction Pty Ltd and Archer Enterprises and HMA winner Airpak Sheetmetal as examples.
After the presentations, attendees where given the opportunity to continue to network and explore the Museum further. The evening was a resounding success.
