Today( Tuesday11th March) we kicked off our inaugural packaging machine operators program for the #Food and #Beverage and related sectors- The aim of which is to broaden the participants understanding of packaging line operations and performance optimisation, with a strong focus on Quality control, product safety and continuous improvement.
Led by Nathan Scott and Kathryn Taylor from our team and funded by NSW Department of Education and the Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development ,the 5 day program runs over three weeks and will provide practical and hands on experiences in machine operation, with a view to up skill staff and small business owners. This unique program brings a number of elements and experiences together in an open environment where participants learn from our trainers, their peers and other expert trainers.
The training utilises CCIC’s interim skills hub based at the University of NewcastleOurimbah, which is funded by Department of Industry, Science and Resources and facilities provided by Regional Development Australia Central Coast. A fantastic collaboration!
Thanks to Real Pet Food Company TrendPac Delta Laboratories Pty. Ltd. Phoenix Packaging Eastcoast Beverages and The Mulled Wine Co for supporting the program. An exciting time ahead as we commence the roll out of other related programs.
