We have an opportunity to see iQRenew’s pilot facility based at Tuggerah that sorts soft plastics into their various types for use in a number of applications. Called the SPEC plant (Soft Plastics Engineered Commodity) this demonstration facility is a precursor for a much larger facility being built outside of Taree.
We will hear from Graham Knowles, Group General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at iQRenew who will talk about the SPEC facility and to the plans of expansion of this technology.
The site tour will commence at 10.00am in order to see the plant in operation. Morning tea will be provided.
